Ingredients: 
Basmati Rice - 2 cup 
Tomatoes - 3 medium size (chopped) 
Onions - 2 medium (sliced) 
GingerGarlic paste - 1 1/2 tsp 
Cashews - 10 
mustard - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Hing- pinch 
Bay leaf - 2 /3 
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp 
Redchilli powder - 2 tsp 
Oil - 3 Tbsp 
Salt - To Taste 
Water - 3 3/4 cup 
Lemon Juice - 1 Tbsp 
Coriander leaves for garnish 
Method: 
wash the basmati rice and keep aside. 
Heat oil in a pan and mastard, cashews , ginger garlic paste,bay leaf, red chillies and saute well for few minutes. 
add Onions and fry well till it turns color, and then add the finely chopped tomatoes and saute for few minutes.
Then add the chilli powder, turmeric powder,Garam masala powder and fry till the oil leaves side. 
Now add the rice and fry for a 2 minutes. 
Add water, salt and pressure cook the rice for 3 whistles. 
Mix the lemon juice and garnish with corianer leaves before serving. 
Serve hot with Raita.
