Kheer

Ingredients:
Vermicelli/semiya - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Milk - 4 cups
Cheshewnuts - 10
Raisins/kismiss - 15
Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
Ghee - 3 tsp
Saffron - few
Method:
Fry Cashewnuts in ghee until light gold in colour in a low flame and keep it aside.
Heat ghee in a vessel and fry Vermicelli/semiya until golden brown and keep aside.
Take 3 tsp of Hot milk soak saffron in that milk.
Boil milk and add fried vermicelli/semiya and cook for 8 to 10 min.
Add sugar,fried cashewnuts, raisins,cardamom powder and mix well.
Boil for 3 to 4 min. Before serving garnish with saffron and serve.
