Puri

Ingredients:
Wheat flour - 1 cup
All purpose flour - 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Vegetable oil for deep fry
Method:
Mix wheat flour, all purpose flour, 1 tsp oil and salt in a bowl.
Make dough by adding enough water to it.
Make the dough a bit stiff so that it could be rolled easily.
Knead the dough for 10 minutes and keep it aside for 15-20 minutes.
Make small balls of dough about the size of the lemon.
Roll the dough pieces into 5-inch diameter circle.
Deep-fry it in vegetable oil. puris should puff up.
Remove the excess oil using a paper towel.
Serve hot with any Gravy items or chutneys.
