Bisibele Bhath

Ingredients:
rice - 150 gms
toor dal - 150 gms
Carrot - 250gms
Beans - 250gms
green peas - 150 gms
Bisibele Bhath Masala Powder - 50 gms
ghee - 3 tsp
Cashewnuts - 100 gms
tamarind juice - 100 gms
curry leaves
salt to taste
turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
mustard seeds - 1 tsp
dried red chillies - 4
water
coriander leaves for garnish
sev bhoondi - 100 gms for garnish.
Method:
Cook about 650 gms of vegetables (carrot, beans, green peas etc.,) with 1/2 tsp and turmeric powder and keep aside.
cook one small container full of rice and toor dal (about 150 gms each) together.
heat ghee in a pan and add cashew nuts, mustard seeds, dried red chillies , curry leaves.
add cooked vegetables, Bisibele Bhath masala powder, tamarind juice, salt to taste and simmer for 5 min.
garnish with coriander leaves.
serve hot with sev bhoondi.
