Coconut Laddoos

Ingredients:
Coconut - 3 cups (shredded )
Sugar - 2 cups
food colour - few drops(green/pink)
Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
Milk - 1 cup
Method:
Take a thick bottomed pan heat in a low flame and add the 1cup of milk.
When it comes to boil, add 2 1/2 cups of coconut and mix well on a low heat and keep the remaining 1/2 cup shredded coconut aside.
When the whole milk has been absorbed by the coconut, add the 2 cups of sugar slowly.
Stirring continuously in medium heat until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan..
Add food colour, cardamom powder and mix well.
Remove into plate and make small balls.
Place the remaining shredded coconut on a plate and roll the coconut balls on these to make laddoos.
Store in airtight containers.
