Peas Pulav

Ingredients:
Basmati Rice - 1 cup
Fresh Peas - 1 cup
Onion - 2 (sliced)
Green chillies - 2 (chopped)
Ginger Gralic paste - 1 1/2 tsp
Bay Leaf - 2
Cinnamon - 2"
Cardamoms - 1/2 tsp
Cloves - 6
Salt to taste
Oil/Ghee - 2tsp
Method:
Wash and soak the rice for 30 minutes.
Heat oil in pan and fry the sliced onions till golden brown. Remove and keep aside.
Heat the remaining oil in a tawa.
Add the Bay leaf, whole spices, garlic ginger paste, green peas,green chillies and fry for 4 minutes over a low flame.
Add the drained rice. Fry for 2 minutes. Add 2 cups of water and cook till the rice is done.
Remove from the flame.
Spread on a plate and remove the whole spices.
Transfer the pulav into a bowl. Serve garnished with the fried onions.
